LOVE ME JEJE CROONER “SEYI SODIMU” LOSES BROTHER

Popular Washington DC Metro Police Officer and United States Of America Homeland security protocol officer, Ken Kayode Sodimu is dead. He was the elder brother to the Love Me Jeje crooner "Seyi Sodimu"

Ken Kayode Sodimu, a former disc jockey who served as a great inspiration and played a key role to Seyi Sodimu's music career passed on early Monday morning, April 8th, 2013 at the John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore Maryland, USA, a protracted illness.

The popular DC Metro Cop officer was loved by many for his dedication to work, his embracement of law and his love for God. He was an amazing hands on father, a dedicated church worker, a husband and great father. His last post on the FACEBOOK was on March 24TH 2013, and reads "Good Morning F/B Family. No matter what is happening in your life or what is going to happen to you, LIFE GOES ON WITH OR WITHOUT YOU." He will sincerely be missed and never forgotten.
Ken Koyode Sodimu who is more like the Washington DC version of Charley Boy in Nigeria with his love and passion for power bike riding will be buried on the 28th of April, 2013 in Washington DC, USA. He will be given an elaborate state/police burial with over 3,000 (three thousand) power bikes and riders attending. He is survived by wife, 3 children, mother, father, and siblings. Ken Kayode Sodimu is aged 52 years.

Kayode Ayodeji Ishola Sodimu was born on June 13th 1961 at Island Maternity Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria to Chief. R. A. and Mrs. S A. Sodimu.  He was their 3rd child and second son.  Kayode began his primary education at the Fountain school in Surulere Lagos, and for his Secondary education, he attended St. Peters College Abeokuta, Igbobi College, in Lagos, and completed his Secondary education at African Church Comprehensive High School at Ikere Ekiti, Nigeria.

Upon Completion of his secondary education in 1980, Kayode moved to the US where he attended the South-eastern University in the District of Columbia, and earned a degree in Automotive Engineering.  While in school, Kayode was a very popular DJ and made lots of friends because of his good reputation. However, his exploit as a DJ and entertainer was very instrumental in his brother Seyi Sodimu going into Music. Kayode also went on to work as a Sales Manager at DarCars Car Dealership in Silver Spring Maryland where he was very well known and well liked.  After this, Kayode works as a Correctional Officer at the Prison Systems in Jessup Maryland for several years. 

 He met and married his wife, Remi on July 11th 1998, and they were blessed with 3 beautiful Children.
Kayode went on to work for the Metropolitan Police Department, in Washington DC, and a member of Homeland Security Protocol, which is where he worked until his death.  Kayode is survived by his wife and children, Father, Mother, Brothers, Sisters, lots of family and friends, including his friends and colleagues at the Metropolitan Police Department and also his fellow Motorbike riders
