NEWS: Def Jam Presents Rick Ross (@RickyRozay) With Gold Plaque for ‘God Forgives, I Don’t

AUSTIN, TX — Maybach Music Group CEO and recording artist Rick Ross has been officially awarded a gold plaque for his 2012 solo album "God Forgives I Don't". Def Jam President Joie "Joey I.E." Manda and Senior VP of Marketing Chris Atlas presented Rick Ross with the award in front of a sold-out crowd at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. Also present to receive the award were Maybach Music's own Gucci Pucci and Spiff TV, both instrumental in the creation of "God Forgives I Don't". Rick Ross was also awarded an additional plaque commemorating 5 studio albums that have surpassed 3.5 million in total worldwide sales.

Rick Ross is currently headlining his own national arena tour – The MMG Tour. He is joined by Maybach Music Group recording artists Wale and Meek Mill. "God Forgives I Don't" is Ross' fifth studio album, and also his fifth to surpass Gold status.

Maybach Music Group (MMG) is Rick Ross' own recording label. In partnership with Warner Bros. Records, MMG has released albums from Wale and Meek Mill, plus two label compilation albums. The label is also home to recording artists Gunplay (Def Jam), Stalley (WB), Omarion (WB), Rockie Fresh (WB), and DJ Scream (WB).
